At 8 p.m. ET, "Fashion Star" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) maintained its premiere rating of the prior week in 18-49 and is virtually matching its debut total viewership from last week as well (2.960 million vs. 2.961 million), pending updates.
* At 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in 18-49 and is the hour's #1 scripted program among those networks in all key demographics. "Grimm" Built on its lead-in by 75 percent in 18-49 rating and 65 percent in total viewers.
* Note that in the fourth quarter, "Grimm" originals grew by 73 percent over these next-day "live plus same day" numbers in 18-49 when Nielsen reported additional time-shifting viewership in "live plus seven day" results (to a 2.86 rating from a 1.65).
* From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with BrIan Williams" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall. "Rock Center" maintained its 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its second.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:
* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/3 with an encore.
