According to The Hollywood Reporter, Natasha Lyonne will guest star in the series finale of Showtime's long-running drama series WEEDS.
The actress will portray a woman named 'Tiffani' in the one-hour finale. While details of her role have not been disclosed, it was revealed at last week's TCA summer press tour that the final episode would not be a cliffhanger.
Series star Mary-Louise Parker told the press, "[Kohan] managed to bring things together in a really beautiful way. She didn’t make it a happily-ever-after thing, but there was hope, and there was some sort of benediction. I cried when I read it. I think the finale is beautifully written, and I hope it lives up to what she wrote.”
In 2009, Lynonne appeared in Off-Broadway's Love, Loss, and What I Wore, followed by Tigers Be Still at the Roundabout Theatre Company. The actress is well-known for her role in the 'American Pie' movie sequels. She will soon appear in the indie dramedy Clutter with Carol Kane as well as in Michael Urie's directorial debut, He's Way More Famous Than You. Her other TV credits include episodes of New Girl and Law & Order: SVU.
WEEDS airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
