American international swimmer and 11-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte will make his first-ever TV series appearance in tonight's episode of 90210.
Fresh off of his five medal wins from the 2012 London Olympics, Lochte will make a cameo as a guest at a resort where Naomi and Max are staying to strengthen their relationship in an episode of 90210 to air tonight, Oct. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on The CW.
"When we found out Ryan Lochte was going to be in town and might appear on 90210, we felt like we'd won a gold medal! Team USA are all-stars in our book, and we're so excited he's making an appearance on the show. We only wish the episode was a surf event so we could have gotten him in the water, but he deserves a little rest on dry land," said Executive Producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen.
Lochte made his acting debut last week in two Funny or Die videos. He has recently stated that he is interested in appearing on a reality show, preferably ABC's Dancing With the Star or The Bachelor. The 11-time medalist will move to Los Angeles to pursue acting opportunities.
The swimmer's sports agent Erika Wright recently confirmed that Lochte is receiving multiple offers for endorsement deals and that things have been "heating up fast and furious since the Olympics."
