Oxygen to Premiere New Dance Docu-Series ALL THE RIGHT MOVES, 7/31

Oxygen-to-Premiere-20010101

Oxygen Media will premiere ALL THE RIGHT MOVES, a new one hour docu-series following the tight knit friendships and lives of four of the most successful and sought-after dancers in the industry, on Tuesday, July 31 at 11PM ET/PT.

The world of dance is fiercely competitive, but with careers, reputations, and friendships at stake, Emmy(R)-nominated choreographer Travis Wall ("So You Think You Can Dance"), Teddy Forance (recently featured on "Dancing With the Stars" as dancer and choreographer), Nick Lazzarini (winner of "So You Think You Can Dance" season one), and Kyle Robinson (Julliard-trained and recently featured on "Dancing With the Stars") band together to take this art form to a whole new level by launching the dance company SHAPING SOUND. Through blood, sweat, and tears these lifelong friends and roommates are determined to come together and make this venture a success, giving background dancers a chance to shine.

"We're constantly looking for programming that really ignites the interests of our viewers, who are on the cutting edge of trends happening throughout pop culture" commented Rod Aissa, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. "'All The Right Moves' does exactly that by showcasing the path of four friends who are enormously talented dancers and choreographers, really going for their dreams as they take on this amazing new business opportunity."

Turning their passion into paychecks, the eight episode series kicks off with Travis, Nick and Teddy diving head first into starting their business after years of dreaming about the launch of a contemporary dance company in Los Angeles. But with the competitive world of dance, the guys quickly find themselves knee deep in a power struggle with their friends and peers. Taja, Travis' protégé, challenges his position as leader while newcomer Kyle questions his role in the company. Meanwhile Jaimie, Travis' best friend and fellow "So You Think You Can Dance" alumni, longs for a spot in the company after a debilitating knee injury.

World of Wonder Productions produces "All the Right Moves" with Randy Barbato, Fenton Bailey and Tom Campbell serving as executive producers.

Meet the guys:

Travis Wall
Hometown: Virginia Beach, VA

Travis is a visual musician who has been surrounded by dancing his whole life. Starting in his mother's studio at the age of three, Travis quickly became a trained dancer in the jazz, lyrical, and contemporary styles. He was the runner-up for the Fox reality show "So You Think You Can Dance," which led to Travis' current role as the show's resident choreographer and guest judge. Some of his most memorable performances garnered much positive attention that led to further opportunities in the dance world such as choreographing for "Dancing with the Stars," including a performance with Adele, assisting in the choreography of the "82nd Academy Awards," as well as working with Florence and the Machine, Chelsea Handler, Eminem and Drake for "The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards." In recognition of his talent, Travis was nominated for an Emmy in 2011 for his work on "So You Think You Can Dance." Attempting to take his dancing skills even further, Travis just completed work on choreography numbers for the upcoming feature film, "Step Up 4." Constantly challenging himself, Travis has also taken on an entrepreneurial venture, recently creating the dance company Shaping Sound. In an effort to continue nurturing his passion for dance and mentor future performers, Shaping Sound is a collaboration of diverse artists who share a common motif of being "visual musicians."

Teddy Forance
Hometown: Easthampton, Massachusetts

As the fourth generation to live in his family's studio, the Hackworth School of Performing Arts in Massachusetts, Teddy grew up surrounded by dance. He took his career to a professional level at the age of 17 by traveling throughout Greece as a dancer for international pop star Anna Vissi. In the years following, Teddy partnered with many esteemed choreographers including Mia Michaels, where he assisted the Celine Dion "Taking Chances" tour as well as performed as a lead dancer on Cirque du Soleil's "Delerium." Well known for his work with seasons two and three of the Fox reality show "So You Think You Can Dance," he received an honorary Emmy. Teddy has begun to carve his career on the "Dancing with the Stars" stage as well, choreographing for Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald, and being recently featured as a performer. He has also performed with award-winning artists such as Lady Gaga on "American Idol," Usher at the "American Music Awards," Florence & the Machine at "The Video Music Awards," among others, and choreographed for Kelly Clarkson on the "American Music Awards." Teddy is one of the founding members of the LA based dance company Shaping Sound.
