According to WalesOnline, West End Phantom of the Opera star John Owen-Jones has been cast in a new TV drama series about zombies, In the Flesh. The series will air on BBC Three next year.
"My role is only a small one but it's important to the setting up of the story which tells of how, after a freak occurrence re-animates thousands of dead people one night, all these zombies have to be rehabilitated back into society somehow," Owen-Jones told WalesOnline.

Directed by Jonny Campbell, the show is about a teenager, Kieren Walker, and how he fits in with his family and the local community four years after his suicide. Owen-Jones will be joined in the cast by Ricky Tomlinson, Kenneth Cranham and Steve Evets.
Owen-Jones holds the honor of being the longest-running London Phantom. He has also appeared in the West End's Show Boat and A Little Night Music, Carousel and Sweeney Todd on the London Fringe and Les Miserables on Broadway.
