It's up, up and away for 'The Chew's' Carla Hall who recently visited the set of Broadway's MARY POPPINS where she was transformed into Mary herself. Hall spent time with the cast, including current lead actress Steffanie Leigh, and even learned how to fly. The segment airs Wednesday, April 4, 2012 on ABC's "The Chew." "The Chew" airs MONDAY - FRIDAY (1-2 pm, ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Steffanie Leigh joined the cast of Broadway's MARY POPPINS on October 11, 2011. She previously played the role for eight months on the road. Her regional theatre credits include Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Beauty and the Beast, 42nd St., Into the Woods, Grease, Mame and Les Miserables.
MARY POPPINS became the 28th longest-running show in Broadway history on Friday, March 9. The Broadway production officially opened on November 16, 2006 and is the only show from the 2006-2007 theatrical season still running.
