Photo Flash: First Lady Michelle Obama Visits THE VIEW

First Lady Michelle Obama paid a visit to THE VIEW today to discuss her new book - American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America - and her message that having access to healthy, affordable food can promote better eating habits. Mrs. Obama also discussed the history of the White House garden, some of the recipes in the book, and tips for starting your own garden no matter where you live. View photos of her visit below!

The First Lady's appearance on THE VIEW is part of the show's continuing "Red, White & View" campaign highlighting interviews and informational segments that promote civic responsibility. Mrs. Obama previously appeared on "The View" in April 2011 and June 2008, when she made her daytime television debut as a special guest co-host.
