Photo Flash: First Look from the Set of Disney's GIRL MEETS WORLD!

Below, check out photos from the set of the highly anticipated Disney spin-off series GIRL MEETS WORLD. New cast member Samantha Carpenter was thrilled to be visited by original series actors Rider Strong and Will Friedle and tweeted: Rider Strong and Will Friedle visited us! OH MY GOSH.

GIRL MEETS WORLD will follow Riley, the teenage daughter of Cory and Topanga, picking up over a decade after the show concluded its run on ABC in 2000. At this time, no other stars from the original series are set to return, though both Ryder Strong and Trina McGee have expressed interest.

Production on the pilot has just begun and should GIRL MEETS WORLD be picked up to series by the Disney Channel, it's expected that the prequel series would land on the 2013-2014 season.
