Photo Flash: Philbin & Gifford Reunite as Hosts of TODAY

Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford reunited on the fourth hour of the TODAY show this morning on NBC. View photos from Philbin's co-hosting gig below!

The twosome served as co-hosts for the first time in over a decade. Philbin filled in for Gifford's regular co-host Hoda Kotb who took a break for the day. Upon announcing the news of the reunion, Gifford said, “I’m really looking forward to it and [to] see if we’ve still got it. We’re just going to let him show up and we’ll let the sparks fly.”

ABC’s Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee aired from 1985 until Gifford's departure in 2000. A year later, the show became Live! With Regis and Kelly when Kelly Ripa took over as Philbin’s partner. Philbin retired from the show in 2011. Although Ripa is searching for a permanent co-host, the show is now known as Live! With Kelly.

Gifford has been hosting the fourth hour of Today with Kotb since 2008. In 2010, she won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the show.
