Photo Flash: Premiere Week of ABC's THE REVOLUTION

ABC Daytime is launching a New Year's revolution on MONDAY, JANUARY 16 at 2:00 p.m., ET with the premiere of the new, one-hour daily talk show, THE REVOLUTION from Time Square Studios and 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA. The show features a stellar ‘dream team' of experts -- Ty Pennington, Tim Gunn, Harley Pasternak, Dr. Jennifer Ashton and Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry -- who each provide life changing tips and the essential tools to motivate viewers and transform all areas of their lives from the inside out. Each week the show will also highlight one woman's five month personal journey over the course of five days.

Design expert Ty Pennington offers encouragement and support, helping people achieve individual goals, and he will also share his design expertise to create an environment for a better life; style guru Tim Gunn helps viewers embrace their individual style to look and feel their best; celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak shares his "make it count" mantra with tips on making healthy choices and incorporating fitness into everyday life; OB-GYN Dr. Jennifer Ashton, a leading women's health expert, addresses health concerns and provides up-to-the-minute medical information; and therapist Tiffanie Davis Henry, Ed.D, guides women and couples to forge healthier relationships and explore the importance of emotional well being.

Signature segments featured on "The Revolution" include::

"Hero" -- Daily segment featuring a new "hero" each week, chronicling her journey of transformation over a five month period. The "heroes" are everyday people who are taking on a full revolution from the inside out and are willing to share every part of their struggle and triumph with viewers.

"Timtervention" -- Weekly segment featuring style guru Tim Gunn. One lucky viewer will be chosen to receive a makeover from Tim's Closet, and Tim will help them realize their full potential that already exists within. This fun style therapy session is aimed to help viewers find their individual style and, most importantly, feel beautiful.

‘Ty's Toolbox" - Design expert Ty Pennington empowers women with the tools to navigate any common household problem through a fun in-studio game that demonstrates the proper way to do it yourself.

"Harley's 3 Minute Workout" - Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak will show viewers a 3-minute workout that will produce great results on a targeted body part.

"Dr. Talk" - OB-GYN Dr. Jennifer Ashton and therapist Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry tackle a topic from both the physical and emotional standpoint.

"Mini Med School" - Dr. Jen shares the latest in health and medical news and its relevance. She will arm the viewers to use the information in their everyday lives to make the best choices for their own health.

"One Part Three Ways" - Three co-hosts focus on one problem object or body part and offer a solution or valuable information based on their individual expertise.

Weekly Personal Finance Segments - Michelle Singletary, Pulitzer Prize-nominated Washington Post personal finance columnist, will contribute weekly financial segments. Singletary is passionate about getting people to face their emotional roadblocks when it comes to money.

Featured "hero" story for the week of JANUARY 16-20:

The Harris Sisters: Long Beach, California natives Cherrell and Jamilla Harris are sisters who have battled weight issues all their lives. They are both successful women who grew up in a house where home-cooked meals were a staple of their everyday lives. Both are single without kids, eager to find their match and start families of their own; however, their busy schedules have made it difficult to meet men. They are extremely co-dependent and choose to spend most of their time with each other. Their revolution will challenge them to be motivated to create a healthier home environment and discover their individual voices.
