Photo Flash: Sneak Peak- Painful Tragedy on Upcoming PRIVATE PRACTICE, 11/3

In the November 3 episode of ABC's PRIVATE PRACTICE, entitled,  "If I Hadn't Forgotten...", Charlotte's painful memories of a horrible tragedy are triggered as Amelia continues her downward spiral; Addison takes one step closer to motherhood when she finally chooses a sperm donor; Cooper faces a difficult decision when he realizes his patient's parents have been drugging their son in an effort to control his supposed ADHD; and Pete's trust issues prevent him from repairing his fragile relationship with Violet.

From Shonda Rhimes, the Golden Globe-winning creator of "Grey's Anatomy," comes the story of a team of gifted doctors working together to change the lives of their patients for the better as they look to one another for friendship and love.

Having made a home in Los Angeles and among her friends at the practice, renowned neonatal surgeon Addison Montgomery may have at last found true love with fellow doctor and longtime friend Sam. But just as things have become romantic for the two of them, their friends question if their relationship, so complicated by the presence of Sam's ex -- Addison's best friend, Naomi -- has a chance.

Oceanside Wellness' co-founders, Naomi and Sam, nearly lost their daughter, Maya, in a car accident that took the life of the practice's own Dell. It was Addison's surgical talents that saved both Maya and her newborn baby. In the wake of the accident, Naomi focuses on Maya, her grandchild, and on a possible merger between her current practice, Pacific Wellcare, and Oceanside Wellness.

PRIVATE PRACTICE airs Thursdays from 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
