Rebirth Brass Band, Helmut VonLichten Team with CBS Sports to Jazz Up SUPER BOWL Coverage

Taking the iconic melody of the theme music of THE NFL ON CBS, the 2012 Grammy Award-winning ReBirth Brass Band added its signature Touch of heavy funk to record and create new music to be featured in various bumpers, billboards and animation beds throughout the day of CBS Sports' coverage of Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Upon recording the music in New Orleans, VonLichten from ES Posthumus remixed the track to embrace Rebirth's Style of upholding the tradition of brass bands while at the same time incorporating THE NFL on CBS theme.

In addition, CBS Sports Network is using the track for their shows Super Bowl LIVE and INSIDE THE Super Bowl throughout its coverage during Super Bowl week. CBSSports.com is also using it for their EYE ON FOOTBALL LIVE AT JACKSON SQUARE packaging and other shows.
