Comedian and actor Rob Corddry has officially been tapped to star in ABC's upcoming adaptation of the hit British espionage series, SPY.
The series is a half-hour comedy that follows a good-natured father (Corddry) who ends up taking a job at the secret service to impress his freakishly intelligent son.
The series' original creator Simeon Goulden is set to write the Americanized pilot and executive produce with Jimmy Mulville and Helen Williams.
The original SPY premiered in 2011 in the UK, and was produced by Hat Trick Productions.
