STAGE TUBE: Broadway Veteran Stacy Francis Eliminated From THE X FACTOR

Last night it was announced that Stacy Francis, one of Nicole Scherzinger's Over 30 finalists, was eliminated from THE X FACTOR. After Steve Jones announced that Francis and Astro received the fewest votes following last night's rock-themed performance show, judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Scherzinger listened to the two finalists perform their "song for survival" and then eliminatEd Francis of Brooklyn, NY. In addition, Rihanna performed her latest hit, "We Found Love." Though Stacy was devastated from the elimination decision but still feels blessed. Despite his harsh comments, she still loves Simon and has some words of wisdom for Astro.

Francis starred as Rusty in the original Broadway cast of FOOTLOOSE. Her additional Broadway credits include SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE and STREEET CORNER SYMPHONY.

Next week, the Top Nine Finalists, including Girls - Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow and Drew; Boys - Astro, Marcus Canty and Chris Rene; Over 30s - Leroy Bell and Josh Krajcik; and last remaining group LaKoda Rayne will continue to battle it out for America's votes, THE X FACTOR title, a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music and an iconic Pepsi commercial. Don't miss the Top Nine Finalists perform LIVE on a special night Tuesday, Nov. 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
