STAGE TUBE: Testa, Fraser Star in JACK IN THE BOX Web Series

Two Time Tony Award Nominees Alison Fraser and Mary Testa return for the 29th episode of Michael Cyril Creighton's critically acclaimed web sitcom "JACK IN A BOX." Creighton, (who was recently seen on the latest episode of FX's "Louie") is also joined by Paul Thureen of Soho Rep's Uncle Vanya and The Debate Society. The series was a nominee for the 2012 Writers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Original New Media and was the winner of Best Web Series at the 2010 New York Television Festival. The series is in its fourth and final season and will come to a close in September. THE GRILLING, which was shot & edited by Jim Turner and written by Creighton, can be viewed below!

In the episode, entitled "THE GRILLING", Jack (Creighton) brings his boyfriend Drew (Thureen) to visit his Mother (Testa) and Aunt Heidi (Fraser). This could be a disaster. Drew gets grilled, Jack gets mortified and Aunt Heidi helps facilitate Mother's dropping of a bomb.

Michael Cyril Creighton (Writer/Jack) was seen on the most recent episode of FX's "Louie" playing a reality show cast member who hates conflict and then commits a very violent act. He has also been seen on TV in "30 Rock" (NBC), "Jeffery & Cole Casserole" (LOGO) and "VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live". On stage he is a frequent guest artist with The Debate Society, having performed in Buddy Cop 2, You're Welcome, Cape Disappointment and will be seen in their world premiere of Blood Play at The Bushwick Starr in October. He was a 2010 NY Innovative Theatre Award Nominee for Outstanding Featured Actor in Joshua Conkel's MilkMilkLemonade, in which he created the role of "Nana." He has been seen on the web in Very Mary-Kate, Downsized, The Burg and various other shows. He was a founding member of the NY Neo-Futurists and was a 2012 Writers Guild Award Nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Original New Media.

Alison Fraser (Aunt Heidi) is currently appearing in the world premiere of Far From Heaven at Williamstown Theatre Festival playing Mona Lauder. She recently originated the roles of "Matron" in the world premiere of in masks outrageous and austere with Shirley Knight, Sister Walburga in Charles Busch's Off Broadway hit The Divine Sister, and Arsinoë in the world premiere of David Ives's The School for Wives directed by Walter Bobbie at Classic Stage Company. She is a two time Tony Award nominee for playing Martha in The Secret Garden and Josefine in Romance/Romance. Film: "Commentary", "Family Games", "The Thing About My Folks" among others.
