03/08/2013 (08:00PM - 09:00PM) (Friday) : Fashion Star RETURNS FOR SEASON TWO WITH MENTORS Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie AND John Varvatos AND HOST Louise Roe - 12 HOPEFUL DESIGNERS COMPETE FOR THE ULTIMATE PRIZE, LAUNCHING THEIR EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION IN MACY'S, SAKS AND EXPRESS - New host Louise Roe ("Plain Jane") joins returning mentors, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, who will guide 12 hopeful designers as they vie for the ultimate prize, launching their Exclusive Collections in Macy's, Saks and - new to the Fashion Star Runway - Express . Working in teams with their specific mentor, designers face their first runway show with a challenge to create a selection of "showstopping" garments. One contestant kicks off the season with a bidding war between all three retailers, while another stuns the Mentors and the audience with the biggest buy in Fashion Star history. In the end, the mentors must put up two of their designers for elimination and the buyers send the first one home.
