01/04/2013 (08:00PM - 08:30PM) (Friday) : WHEN RYAN SHOWS SYMPTOMS OF THE GRIEVING PROCESS, THE GROUP TRIES TO INTERVENE - Ryan (Matthew Perry) manifests a textbook symptom of the grieving process - compulsive eating - but he rejects the notion that he is a "grief cliché." After meeting the man in Lauren's (Laura Benanti) life, Ryan offers unsolicited advice in getting them to the next stage of their relationship. Meanwhile, Ryan tries to snap Danny (Seth Morris) out of his robust fantasy life. Julie White, Tyler James Williams, Suzy Nakamura and Brett Gelman also star.

01/04/2013 (08:30PM - 09:00PM) (Friday) : THE GROUP PLANS A SCAVENGER HUNT FOR RYAN'S BIRTHDAY - Christine Woods GUEST STARS - Ryan (Matthew Perry) has never liked celebrating his birthday, but when the group plans a scavenger hunt for him, he reluctantly plays along. Meanwhile, Ryan agrees to let Sonia (Sarah Baker) look after Steven (John Cho) after he's undergone a colonoscopy, and Mr. K (Brett Gelman) and Anne (Julie White) bond over their passion for musicals.

Laura Benanti, Tyler James Williams and Suzy Nakamura also star.
