Despite Adam’s (Peter Krause) reservations, Kristina (Monica Potter) encourages Max (Max Burkholder) to extend himself even though she may be too preoccupied to help him. Sarah (Lauren Graham) becomes more sensitive to her new boss Hank (guest star Ray Romano) while entertaining his daughter, and Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) finds a potential friend in young Ryan York (guest star Matt Lauria). Victor (Xolo Mariduena) attempts an after school activity and gives Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) a glimpse of their future family.
