Scoop: THE CHEW on ABC - September 24 -28, 2012 As previously announced on “The Chew,” (weekdays, 1:00 p.m., ET, 12:00 p.m., PT), Hyperion will publish THE CHEW: Food, Life, Fun, a companion book to the hit lifestyle and entertaining series, on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25. “The Chew” is hosted by “Iron Chef America” stars Mario Batali and Michael Symon, “Top Chef” alum Carla Hall, entertaining and style expert Clinton Kelly and health and wellness enthusiast Daphne Oz. The book includes full-color photos of delicious dishes and offers readers a backstage look at the show, as well as exclusive and original commentary from the five hosts. This lively companion book captures “The Chew” hosts’ trademark wit, practical advice and personal recipes and is divided into four seasons, offering over 100 recipes, as well as many of the helpful nutrition and entertaining tips that millions of viewers tune in to see every week.

Beginning MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, fans of “General Hospital” have another reason to celebrate as “The Chew” pays house calls to some of the popular drama’s most celebrated stars. Julie Berman, Finola Hughes, Ingo Rademacher and Erik Valdez are featured, with special guest appearances from Lindsey Morgan and Sebastian Roché “General Hospital” airs at 2:00 p.m., ET/1:00 p.m., PT, immediately following “The Chew” on ABC.

Actress Lana Parrilla who plays both the wickedly Evil Queen and Mayor of Storybrooke on ABC’s hit series “Once Upon a Time,” is the featured guest FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28.
