Scoop: THE CHEW on ABC - Week of February 11, 2013

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11 - It's a steak house celebration, and Nigella Lawson (ABC's "The Taste") joins co-host Mario Batali to create decadent recipes from her new book, Nigellissima: Easy, Italian-Inspired Recipes; Mario gives the 411 on different cuts of meat to make the perfect steak; co-host Daphne Oz works with Michael Lomonaco in the back kitchen of PorterHouse Restaurant in NYC; and "The Chew" Crew shares their favorite steak house side dishes including potatoes and a yummy wedge salad.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12 - It's Fat Tuesday, and Cheryl Hines (ABC's "Suburgatory") joins co-host Clinton Kelly to make Gulf Shrimp Fritters with Remoulade and a Soda Stinger Inferno cocktail; co-host Michael Symon whips up jambalaya, a Big Easy favorite with one of New Orleans' famed chefs, John Besh; and "Chew" correspondent Jamika Pessoa visits Haydel's bakery in New Orleans to learn the secret of their world-famous King Cake.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 - On Potluck Party day, funny man Lenny Venito (ABC's "The Neighbors") aides co-host Mario Batali who whips up an out of this world potluck classic; co-hosts Daphne Oz and Carla Hall attend a themed potluck party; and the hosts reveal the best potluck paraphernalia to carry dishes from stovetop to tabletop.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14 - Love is in the air as the co-hosts celebrate with a Valentine's Day Party! Co-host Carla Hall and her husband, Matthew, swap spouses with their neighbors and cook a scrumptious main course and dessert; co-host Michael Symon gives tips on preparing a romantic dish of the day à deux while co-hosts Mario Batali and Daphne Oz create sensational sides; and co-host Clinton Kelly schools us all in Valentine's Day dos and don'ts with gift-giving.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15 - It's Extra Value Friday with a twist-throw a dinner party for just $10! Co-host Mario Batali whips up an inexpensive but delectable Braised Pork with Chiles and Corn Tortilla; co-host Clinton Kelly shows ways to present chic hors d'oeuvres, including White Bean Dip, Arancini Balls and Mini Sandwiches; co-host Michael Symon gives one of our lucky home viewers an in-studio tutorial on the perfect dinner party dish-Kielbasa and Bean Stew; and co-host Daphne Oz creates Chocolate and Peanut Butter Haystacks with just three ingredients. And, every Friday in February the hosts will pay an audience member's grocery bill in the Great Grocery Bill Payoff.
