After weeks of stalemate over automatic spending cuts, President Obama stepped up his outreach to Republicans this week, hosting dinner with key GOP senators and sharing lunch with Rep. Paul Ryan. Will the new dining diplomacy make a difference in making Washington work? Can any breakthroughs be made over immigration reform and a long-term deal on the budget? And did Sen. Rand Paul's 13-hour filibuster start an important conversation over drones, while scrambling partisan divides on national security - or was it a meaningless stunt?
