TBS will kick off the second season of Tyler Perry'S FOR BETTER OR WORSE on Friday, July 13 at 9:00/8:00c, network sources have confirmed. A marathon of the show's 10-episode freshman run will lead into said premiere starting at 4:00/3:00c.
The following week look for "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" to slide into the earlier 8:00/7:00c slot. The veteran comedy, which resumes original episodes next Friday at 9:00/8:00c, will also celebrate its 250th episode on July 27.
Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse is an all-new sitcom focusing on three couples at various stages of their relationships as they weather the ups and downs of marriage and dating. Based on Perry's popular Why Did I Get Married? movies, the comedy is slated to premiere Friday, Nov. 25, with back-to-back episodes at 9 and 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT), only on TBS. Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse is produced by Tyler Perry Studios and distributed by Debmar-Mercury.
