The series will come from 'Gossip Girls' executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. It will center on the life of journalist Carrie Bradshaw during her high school years.
Along with 'The Carrie Diaries', the network has also ordered a pilot for a new series entitled 'Arrow' which will be a modern-day look at the DC Comics hero Green Arrow. The project is to be penned by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim.
