Tom Mison Cast as 'Ichabod Crane' in FOX Pilot SLEEPY HOLLOW

Deadline reports that British actor Tom Mison has been cast in the role of Ichabod Crane in the upcoming FOX pilot SLEEPY HOLLOW. The "modern day Supernatural thriller" is written by Alex Kurtzman, Bob Orci and Phillip Iscove and directed by Len Wiseman. The actor joins previously announced cast members Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones and Katia Winter.

Based on Washington Irving's classic novel, The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, the project, from 20th TV and K/O, follows "Ichabod Crane (Mison) as he partners with Sleepy Hollow's Detective Abbie Archer to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil."

Ichabod, a captain from the Revolutionary War where he took off a horseman's head, is sent into the modern day era through the miracle of time travel. Here he once again meets his nemesis,The Headless Horseman, who comes back to haunt the town.
