According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey will join the cast of FOX's new medical drama, "The Mob Doctor," in a recurring role. Hickey will play Mark Easton, a Chicago U.S. Attorney appointed to the post of federal prosecutor.

The show stars Jordana Spiro as a Chicago doctor who ends up on the mob's payroll and Zach Gilford as her colleague and love interest Dr. Brett Robinson. Hickey's attorney is not only backed by the federal government and feared by both corrupt politicians and the mob alike, but he is also Robinson's father.
Hickey won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Felix Turner in The Normal Heart. He has also been seen on Broadway in Mary Stuart, The Crucible, Cabaret and Love! Valour! Compassion!. Hickey's Off-Broadway credits include God's Heart, Blue Window, On the Bum and The End of the Day. He currently plays Cathy's (played by Laura Linney) brother in Showtime's The Big C.
