USA Network's longest running original drama BURN NOTICE, consistently one of cable's top scripted series, today received a 13-episode pickup for its seventh season. In 2013, the Emmy(R)-nominated series will join an elite group as the third show in the network's history to reach 100 episodes. This pick-up completes the renewals of summer's most successful block on television following the recent third season order of USA original SUITS."BURN NOTICE is like a fine wine that gets better with age," said USA Network Co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel. "Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio."Fast-paced spy thriller BURN NOTICE follows the formerly black-listed spy Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), currently working under-the-radar with the CIA on special projects. Michael's eclectic team includes ex-IRA operative and girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), washed up former Navy Seal Sam (Bruce Campbell), ex-counter-intelligence agent Jesse (Coby Bell), and Michael's mother - honorary member Madeline (Emmy(R) winner Sharon Gless). As the second half of the series sixth season returns on Thursday, November 8 at 9/8c with a special two-hour premiere, the team is stranded in Panama and desperate to find a way back to Miami.BURN NOTICE, paired with original drama SUITS, was the most successful block on television this summer attracting more adults 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34 than any other pairing of scripted series.BURN NOTICE was created, written and executive produced by Matt Nix. Mikkel Bondesen and Alfredo Barrios serve as executive producers. The series comes from Fox Television Studios and Fuse Entertainment.
