Actor Charlie Day stopped by last night's Conan on TBS and recapped how he almost got cast in the lead role of Broadway's 2002 production of 'The Graduate.'

After telling all his friends and family that he got the part, he received a call from his agent explaining that producers decided to go with 'American Pie' actor Jason Biggs. Joked Day of what he learned from the experience, "I realized, I gotta go out to California and stick my d**k in a pie if I want to get on Broadway!" Watch the appearance below!

The actor and writer is best known for playing Charlie Kelly on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. His film credits include Horrible Bosses (2011) and Pacific Rim, now playing in theaters.
