VIDEO: Behind-the-Scenes Look at A&E's Psycho Prequel BATES MOTEL

A&E has released the first trailer of the Psycho prequel BATES MOTEL, airing in 2013. The ten-part series stars Freddie Highmore (Finding Neverland) in the role of the young Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air) as his infamous domineering mother. Get a behind-the-scenes look below!

"Bates Motel" will give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates' psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.
