VIDEO: Conan O'Brien Skips the News and Welcomes Back Minty The Candy Cane on Tonight's CONAN!

In the following clip from tonight's CONAN on TBS, Conan skips the news portion of the program, saying:

"This is the part of the show where I come out and we talk about what's going on in the news. And as everyone knows the news these last few days has been just horrific. Of course everyone who works at this show and everyone here in this audience's thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by Friday's mindless tragedy. And you can imagine- the last thing I wanted to do today was try to find something funny in the newspaper. So, if you don't mind tonight, I thought tonight we'd skip the news, and we'd just do some silly pointless comedy."
