Actor Ewan McGregor stopped by ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and was surprised to hear about the recently reported slate of 'Star Wars' spin-off films in the works, featuring such beloved characters as Han Solo and Yoda.
When Kimmel asked the actor for his thoughts on the news of the stand-alone films McGregor replied, "Is there new news today? What was the news today?" Responded the host, "There was a disturbance in the force today. Apparently you're not a part of it!" Check out the appearance below!
McGregor will soon be seen in the big-screen fantasy adventure Jack the Giant Slayer. The actor is best known for his roles as heroin addict Mark Renton in the drama Trainspotting (1996), Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy (1999-2005), poet Christian in the musical film Moulin Rouge! (2001), and storyteller Edward Bloom in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003).
