Fox has just released a promo for the upcoming 12th season of AMERICAN IDOL - dedicated to showcasing one of the newest judges, Nicki Minaj. Check it out below!

The new Season 12 promo features inspirational scenes of wannabe stars and clips of judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson — as well as host Ryan Seacrest. The two-night premiere of the upcoming season will air Wednesday, January 16, and Thursday, January 17 (Fox, 8/7c).
