President Obama's new television campaign ad features the beloved star of SESAME STREET, Big Bird. The ad ridicules Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's pledge to cut the Public Broadcasting Service, home of Big Bird, if he is elected to office.
In the TV spot, the narrator warns, "Big ... Yellow ... A menace to our economy ... Mitt Romney knows it's not Wall Street you have to worry about, it's Sesame Street." and goes on to add, "Mitt Romney -- taking on our enemies, no matter where they nest."
In releasing the ad, the Obama campaign commented that "even on issues as seemingly simple as 8-foot tall talking birds and early childhood education, Mitt Romney's rhetoric is out of touch with the facts." Check out the new political ad below!
