As the first anniversary of Whitney Houston's sudden death draws near, Oprah Winfrey sits down with the singer's mother, Cissy Houston, in her New Jersey home for her first in-depth, sit-down interview since her daughter's passing. Below, check out clips from tonight's interview airing at 10/9c!
While growing up in New Jersey, Whitney Houston was close to both of her big brothers, Gary and Michael. Since his sister's death, Michael, who many in the family called Whitney's twin, hasn't spoken publicly. Now, Michael talks exclusively to Oprah about how he and Whitney did drugs together.
Also in the interview, Cissy reveals how she learned that Whitney had died in a Beverly Hills hotel room and shares why she wasn't shocked that her daughter had drugs in her system-and how she held on to hope that Whitney would beat her addiction.
