VIDEO: Tegan and Sara Perform 'Closer' on ELLEN

Tegan And Sara have been on the grind nonstop since the release of their 7th studio album, Heartthrob on January 29th. The album debuted at #3 on Billboard Top 200, #1 on Billboard Rock and Alternative Charts, and more than doubled the duo's previous record for first-week-sales and the buzz has officially kicked into overdrive. Today, the Girls were invited on ELLEN for the first time in their 13-year career. Below, check out the performance of their song "Closer" on the show!

In support of Heartthrob, Tegan And Sara have announced a huge North American summer tour with their good Friends in FUN which kicks off in July. Before that though, Tegan And Sara are going on a headlining tour of the US, which kicks off with two rescheduled shows at NYC's Beacon Theatre next week. They'll also be a big part of Coachella in April. A couple weeks ago, T&S performed "Closer" to an ecstatic crowd on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! outdoor stage.
