Actress Valerie Harper appeared on The Talk today, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 to discuss her recent diagnosis with terminal brain cancer (2:00 PM, ET / 1:00 PM, PT/CT) on the CBS Television Network. Her appearance represented a "coming home" as Harper filmed her show "Rhoda" on Stage 16, the same sound stage currently occupied by The Talk on the CBS Radford Lot. The hosts presented Harper with a special bronze plaque to be permanently placed on the outside of the stage in honor of her work.
Harper's daughter Cristina Cacciotti also joined her at the table as she emotionally opened up about how they are coping. Harper said, "Don't have the funeral until the day of the funeral. Live for today. There isn't anything but now!" You can watch her moving interview below.
