BroadwayWorld has learned that Broadway vet Will Chase will guest star on CBS' Blood Bloods tonight, October 7, at 10pm.  Chase will play the role of 'Flood',  a sympathetic, good-looking third wheel of a team of bank robbers.

In the episode, when the robbery goes awry, Flood is trapped in the bank with three hostages. The character of Frank is later stunned to learn that Flood is a former cop and an old associate who was fired from the force for alcoholism. Driven to drink by the stress of the job, Flood resorted to this robbery -- his first -- because of his desperately ill daughter, who needs a heart transplant. With no way out, Flood seems determined to die, but when Frank enters the bank and offers himself as hostage, Flood finds a sympathetic ear and a renewed reason to live.

Chase made his Broadway debut in 1998 as the "Squeegee Man" and "Roger" understudy in Rent. He also starred as the last Roger in the final Broadway company of Rent, which was recorded for the theatrical release Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway. His additional Broadway credits include Miss Saigon (with the original star Lea Salonga playing Kim to close the Broadway production), The Full Monty as Jerry Lukowski replacement, Lennon (2005), and Aida (Radames replacement, 2003-04), High Fidelity in 2006, Tony in Billy Elliot, and Story of My Life (2009).
