Zooey Deschanel, Max Weinberg to Guest on SIMPSON's Valentine Episode

TVLine reports that New Girl's Zooey Deschanel and E-Street Band drummer Max Weinberg will appear in a special Valentine's-themed episode of the long-running FOX animated series THE SIMPSONS. 

Deschanel will return on the season premiere as the voice of Bart's romantic interest Mary Spuckler. However, it has now been revealed that the actress will also appear this winter in a special Valentine's-themed episode titled  “Love Is A Many-Splintered Thing.” According to the report, in the episode, "Bart’s heartstrings are pulled once again when Mary returns to Springfield, but his failure to pay her enough attention strains their relationship."

The episode will also features Weinberg as himself and political biographer Robert A. Caro, also as himself. In addition, Sherlock‘s Benedict Cumberbatch turns up in a dual role.

THE SIMPSONS will return for it's 24th season on September 30.
