mun2 Presents WE LOVE JENNI In Honor of the Late Jenni Rivera, 12/21

In honor of Jenni Rivera, mun2 will present the original special, "We Love Jenni," on Friday, December 21 from 8 p.m. EST to 9 p.m. EST with an encore presentation at 10 p.m. EST.

"We Love Jenni" is a one-hour special remembering and celebrating the life of the star of the mun2 Hispanic celebrity reality series "I Love Jenni" and Latin entertainment Icon Jenni Rivera. Featuring exclusive and intimate footage, the program looks at Jenni's life as a mother, friend, artist and trusted Icon to fans. "We Love Jenni" will feature testimonials in both English and in Spanish, from celebrities and fans who remember her fondly and whose lives she touched every day. Included in the special are Latin music stars Thalia, Larry Hernandez, Tucanes de Tijuana, 3Ball Mty, Los Horoscopos de Durango, Banda el Limon, Chino XL, Down and Diana Reye, and celebrities Edward James Olm os, Carson Daly, Snoop Dogg, Mario Lopez, Victor Ortiz and Fernando Vargas who add their memories of the singer as well.

Rivera was traveling with two pilots and four other passengers and was headed to Toluca following a concert in Monterrey on December 8. The aircraft, a Learjet 25, went missing 62 miles from Monterrey after taking off at 3:15 AM local time.

According to Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, Mexico Secretary of Communications and Transport, scattered remains of an aircraft found near where the jet went missing show "all indications" of being the plane in question. There were no survivors.

Rivera is best known for her musical career, having sold over 20 million albums. In addition, mun2 had just ordered a third season for her reality show, I LOVE JENNI.
