According to a new report, actress Thandiwe Newton will be returning to the small screen in an unconfirmed role in the second season of Tim Burton's Netflix series Wednesday. She joins a cast that includes Jenna Oretega as Wednesday Addams, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan, and more.

According to new reports, Sony and Hasbro have closed on a deal which would allow the studio to once again adapt the fan-favorite board game. A film inspired by the murder mystery game was previously released in 1985 with an ensemble cast that included Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, and Lesley Ann Warren, among others.

In August 2024, Russell Crowe will be playing music and bringing the band back to the United States for the first time since 2012. He will appear at NJPAC on Sunday, August 11 at 7:00 PM. An “Indoor Garden Party” is, he says, “an event, a band, a happening. It’s fluid. The personnel changes, but it’s always big. It’s like a festival where I gather people I admire, musicians and storytellers, and we put on a show.'

Pocket.watch and Sunlight Entertainment are partnering with theatrical distributor, Falling Forward Films, to extend the domestic theatrical release of the highly anticipated film Ryan's World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure.

Dame Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley have been cast in the upcoming film from writer/director Chris Columbus, The Thursday Letter Club. The plot revolves around a group of retired friends who solve murders for fun in their retirement community. However, after a murder happens for real, they employ their skills to solve the crime.

In this exciting new season, we fast-forward six years, discovering that Nikki (Smith) and Jason (Spall) are experienced adopters having built a lovely little nuclear family, enriched by an extraordinary support network. Actress and mental health advocate Taraji P. Henson, will release her debut picture book, titled You Can Be a Good Friend (No Matter What!) on June 18, 2024, illustrated by Paul Kellam. Netflix has just released the trailer for the upcoming documentary Power, which looks at the history of the police force in the United States. The film is directed by Yance Ford, who previously was nominated for an Academy Award for his documentary Strong Island, which chronicled the murder of his brother. Ford co-wrote Power with Ian Olds. In a new report from Deadline, Stephan Elliott, director of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert, has confirmed that a sequel to the 1994 film is underway with actors Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce And Hugo Weaving reprising their roles. “The original cast is on board, I’ve got a script that everybody likes, we’re still working out deals. … It’s happening,” Elliott said.

Molly Shannon is hitting the small screen in a new comedy series. Deadline reports that the Saturday Night Live alum will be starring and executive producing a series for HBO that is written and executive produced by longtime collaborator Steve Koren.

A24’s The Iron Claw, written and directed by Sean Durkin, will make its streaming debut on Max on Friday, May 10. The film will be available on HBO and will make its linear debut on Saturday, May 18 (8 p.m. ET).
