FXX Renews ARCHER for an Eleventh Season

FXX has renewed the Emmy(R) Award-winning animated comedy series Archer for an 11th season, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Gina Balian, Presidents, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. Season 11 will debut on FXX in 2020.

Fans of Archer have an entirely new way to engage with FXX's Emmy(R) Award-winning animated comedy series as stars Amber Nash ('Pam Poovey') and Lucky Yates ('Algernop Krieger') will host the new Archer After Hours immediately following the premiere of the 10th season, Archer: 1999, on May 29th.

FXX has set the premiere date for the 10th season of the Emmy(R) Award-winning animated comedy series Archer, it was announced today by Chuck Saftler, President, Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks. Archer: 1999 will debut Wednesday, May 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FXX.

Tony award-winner, Elizabeth Ashley ("Take Her She's Mine") and Tony nominee Tom Hewitt ("The Rocky Horror Show") will headline a refreshed production of Paul Rudnick's witty, laugh out loud comedy, "I Hate Hamlet" at Bucks County Playhouse, November 9 - December 1. The play marks Ashley's return to the Playhouse after co-starring opposite Robert Redford in the pre-Broadway production of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park."

The Carney Awards announced a broadcast partnership with PIX11 in New York, the home of The Honeymooners for past 60 years. The Carney Awards, named for the late, great Oscar and six-time Emmy Award-winning actor Art Carney, star of The Honeymooners, recognize outstanding achievements in character acting and will honor Joe Morton, Jessica Walter, Joe Pantoliano, M. Emmet Walsh, James Cromwell and Bruce Greenwood. Comedian Patton Oswalt will host the evening's program which will be recorded at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, CA on Sunday, October 28, 2018. The 2-hour telecast will air on PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting's New York flagship television station, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 (8:00 PM – 10:00 PM). PIX11 will air a special marathon of The Honeymooners leading into The Carney Awards broadcast, starting at 6:00 PM.
