This year’s Halloween event features a new season like no other of Halloween Wars with paranormal investigator and Ghost Adventures star Zak Bagans lending inspiration to the challenges.

 'The Soup' is heating up at E! as the iconic comedy franchise returns with new host, comedian and actress Jade Catta-Preta. The weekly half-hour pop culture commentary series premieres Wednesday, February 12 at 10:00pm ET/PT.

E! announced today that the network will serve fresh new episodes of its long-running, legendary franchise, 'The Soup,' hosted by comedian and actress Jade Catta-Preta. Premiering in early 2020, the evolved and supercharged series will feature Catta-Preta's irreverent sense of humor and sharp point-of-view on the entertainment world. From the hottest new series, to the latest O-M-G reality tv moments, to the best viral videos, plus everything in between, Catta-Preta is a 'souper' fan who will catch viewers up on what they've missed and offer hilarious commentary on the most talked about pop culture moments.

Food Network kicks the season off with the return of Halloween primetime staples Halloween Baking Championship on Monday, September 23rd at 9pm, Halloween Wars on Sunday, September 29th at 9pm, and Haunted Gingerbread Showdown on Sunday, October 6th at 10pm, along with the premiere of the all-new four-episode stunt, Halloween Cake-Off on Monday, September 23rd at 10pm. New specials on Food Network include Kids Baking Championship: Tricks & Treats on Thursday, September 26th at 9pm and Outrageous Pumpkins on Sunday, September 29th at 10pm. Cooking Channel also premieres new series, Freakshow Cakes on Friday, October 4th at 11pm ET/8pm PT.
