Yesterday, June 9, the Whitney Museum of American Art hosted their 2010 'Art Party at 82 Mercer in New York City. Artists including Ellen Harvey, Ryan Humphrey, Liz Magic Laser, and Jason Middlebrook put pieces of art up for auction. The event was hosted by Lubov and Max Azria. The Toronto International Film Festival was held in Toronto, Canada the week of September 6 through 15. Several American screen and stage stars made appearances. The premiere of The Jane Austen Book Club was held at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto on September 9. The film opened in LA and NYC on September 21.
