Pop Culture Jeopardy! is a brand-new twist on the classic quiz show’s “answer-and-question” format that combines the academic rigor of Jeopardy! with the excitement and unpredictability of pop culture. Contestants, playing in teams of three, will need to be experts in categories from Alternative Rock to The Avengers; Broadway to MMA; Gen Z to Zendaya as they compete in a tournament-style event for the grand prize and ultimate bragging rights.

Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival will present TEEN TALKS, a storytelling workshop that has expanded to include both preteens and teenagers.

75 educators total, including the 12 Alex Trebek fellows, attended the immersive, three-day event, held on the Academy’s North Hollywood campus, which focused on the latest insights and news on the art, science and business of television. Educators learned invaluable information on how best to connect their students with the television industry.

Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA) Program will present The Laramie Project, in concert with Center Theatre Group’s Kirk Douglas Theatre. 

A founding member of the seminal hip hop group the Wu-Tang Clan, RZA is co-director of the documentary A Wu-Tang Experience: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Gerald Barclay. The film, which will make its world premiere at Urbanworld on Friday, November 3, chronicles the Wu-Tang's iconic 2021 performance with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. 

Game Show Network will honor the late Bob Barker with an eight-hour marathon of Match Game episodes featuring him this Saturday, September 2, starting at 9 am. Game Show Network, LLC (“Game Show Network”) is the leader in game show entertainment across multimedia.

 The Actors’ Gang gift to area families are free performances of a new production – Much Ado About Pooh, a 45 minute mash-up playing every Saturday and Sunday from August 5 – 27 at 11:00am.
