FOX to Split FX Channel Into Two Networks This Fall

According to Broadcastingcable.com, the FOX network plans to split its successful cable channel FX into two networks in order to spread it's cable network presense. According to media executives, a new network, tentatively called FXX, would focus on younger viewing audiences with a slant towards comedy. According to the report, programs such as riginal comedy series The League and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia would be broadcast on the new network. It would also air theatrical movies from FX's extensive inventory. |
