Lifetime announced today a bold new programming slate and a new multi-platform initiative dedicated to growing the network's leadership position as the ultimate destination for women's entertainment.

The CW Network welcomes George Lopez ('George Lopez,' 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua') as host for the inaugural THE WORLD DOG AWARDS, making its debut tonight, January 15 (8:00-10:00 pm ET), on The CW Network. Filmed at the aptly named Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, January 10, THE WORLD DOG AWARDS will combine the glamour of a Hollywood awards show with the appreciation for man's best friend.

X and FXX Networks have locked in the summer premiere dates for new and returning original series, including the highly anticipated new original dramas Tyrant and The Strain, as well as new comedies Married and You're the Worst. The scheduling announcements were made today by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.

FX Network has picked up its Elijah Wood-led series for a fourth and final season on its just-launched network FXX, it was announced today. The final season, which has yet to receive a premiere date, will consist of 10 episodes.

On Monday, September 2, FX Networks will launch FXX, a new network aimed at young adult viewers, it was announced today by John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks. With the addition of FXX, FX Networks will become a suite of three networks consisting of FX, FXX and FXM.
