Having defeated General Abbot in the battle at Pubba’s Cabin, Gus (Christian Convery), Jepperd (Nonso Anozie), Becky (Stefania LaVie Owen), and Wendy (Naledi Murray) embark on a journey to Alaska in search of Gus's mother, Birdie (Amy Seimetz), who has been working to uncover the mysterious origins of the deadly Sick. Netflix Renews SWEET TOOTH for Season 3
Netflix has renewed Sweet Tooth for a third and concluding final season, which was already filmed in New Zealand. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Season two premiered with an impressive 48.3 million hours viewed during its first four days of release.

The Academy Invites 842 To Membership; 50% Are Women
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.
Tribeca Film Festival 2019 Announces Feature Film Lineup
The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.
Asian World Film Festival Announces Closing Night, 11/1
The 4TH Annual ASIAN WORLD FILM FESTIVAL (AWFF) will close with an awards presentation honoring actresses Lisa Lu and Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians) with the Snow Leopard Awards at the festival's closing night ceremony. AWFF is once again partnering with The Snow Leopard Trust to raise awareness for the endangered snow leopard and its ecosystem in the high mountains of Asia. The Awards ceremony, will be followed by a screening of China's In Harm's Way and a reception at the Culver Hotel.
