If you were planning the first in-person performance in the Kennedy Center in six months, a kind of historic cultural awakening after the darkness of the pandemic lockdown, you couldn't go wrong with a double bill of Renée Fleming and Vanessa Williams.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has announced the first performance in front of a live audience on one of the Center's famed stages in more than six months.

A Time to Sing: An Evening with Renée Fleming and Vanessa Williams, will explore the healing power of the performing arts and the resilience and hope needed in our current time through a very personal collection of songs performed by Fleming and Williams.

Nick Deutsch, the New York-based Pop artist who's known for his introspective songwriting, has a new single that cuts deep called, “Still You.” Nick hits it home with this song by showing off his impressive range in this follow up to his last track, “Hooking Up.” With so many more aspects to his music left to reveal, listeners can look forward to Nick's new EP, Modern Love, coming out later this Fall.

THE LAST SHIP, starring and featuring original music and lyrics by 17-time Grammy Award® winner Sting, will make its Washington, D.C. premiere at the National Theatre from March 27 - April 5 as part of an international tour.

Sting stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, where he performed 'The Last Ship' from the musical of the same name. He was joined on stage by cast members from the show's currently running national tour.

Production photos and footage have just been released of Sting's musical, THE LAST SHIP. The national tour of THE LAST SHIP is now playing in Los Angeles at Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre through February 16 followed by engagements at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, Washington D.C. at the National Theatre; St. Paul, MN at the Ordway and Detroit, MI at the Detroit Opera House.

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture, the arts center of the Archdiocese of New York, launched the holiday season with a one-night-only festive concert event, 'Vanessa Williams & Friends: Thankful for Christmas,' last night Monday, November 18 at 7:30PM in the Loreto Theater, 18 Bleecker Street (between Elizabeth and Mott Streets).

Sting's acclaimed musical, THE LAST SHIP, starring and featuring original music and lyrics by the 17-time Grammy Award®-winner, will go on sale Friday, November 29 for the premiere Detroit engagement at the Detroit Opera House. GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS has announced the release of Legrand Affair (Deluxe Edition) from Tony Award-nominated singer, actress and writer Melissa Errico today, Friday, November 8. The extended and complete version of the album Legrand Affair, originally produced by Phil Ramone and Richard Jay-Alexander, features Errico with the 100-piece Brussels Philharmonic. The highlight of this special release is the last song Legrand wrote before passing away earlier this year, a?oeI Haven't Thought Of This In Quite A While.a??

The Utah Symphony today announced the lineup for the 2019 summer community concert series in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, several of which feature outdoor venues and free performances. The schedule includes orchestra performances in Layton on June 17, Gallivan Center on Monday June 24, Thanksgiving Point on June 26, Taylorsville Dayzz on June 27, Utah Cultural Celebration Center on July 1, Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre on July 2, and Snowbasin on July 3. The final summer concert is in commemoration of Zion National Park's 100th anniversary, with a special performance of the orchestra with Sting on Aug. 31, 2019. No tickets are required for the Gallivan Center and Utah Cultural Celebration Center performances, which are free to the public. Tickets for the other performances are on sale now with ticketing information available at www.utahsymphony.org.
